It is with profound sadness and a very heavy heart that we remember Steve Freed, truly one of the heart and souls of our organization.

For over 40 years Steve was one of the leaders of our organization starting with our very successful Concern 2 in the early 80’s. He was the head of our investment committee, former board chair and was unquestionably a true leader and pillar of our annual Block Party from load in to load out and everything in between. Our party will never be the same without him. His contributions to our organization were immeasurable and always done without fanfare or public recognition and “his way” with the best interests of Concern always top of mind. He truly loved being a part of Concern and the Concern family.

May his legacy and memory be a blessing to all who had the opportunity to work alongside him and more importantly call him a true friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his children Derek & Nikki and his entire family. Rest in peace as you ride off into the sunset our dear the Beverly Hills Cowboy.
