The grant application process for the current grant period is closed. Please check back in early spring 2009 for the updated instructions to apply for a grant for the 2009-2010 period.

Estimated Dates for Review and Award Process for 2008:
Grants are ultimately approved by the foundation's Board of Directors based on the recommendations of the Scientific Review Committee. The tentative schedule for the review and decision process is outlined below:

January - May 2008: Scientific Peer Review

June 2008: Award Decisions Announced

July 2008: First grant disbursement to approved grantees.
